It's late.
I'm not a writer.
We're going to go back to 1st grade.
My favorite writing genre is fantasy. I like it because I like to read fantasy. It is fun. When you write fantasy, you can make up your own world and put in mountains and swords and stuff. I really like swords.
I also like to write mysteries. They are fun because you make a story and then have to do fake stories to cover it up and make it hard for people to figure out. I wrote two mystery parties and it was very hard but very fun and people liked them.

Okay, it's true. I didn't know what "genre" was in first grade, nor did I have a clue how to spell it.
But as I said, it's late. Hopefully tomorrow will bring something more interestingly presented.

Fantasy is so fun to write.

I must be odd. I like reading fiction, especially fantasy. But I like writing (or at least am better at writing) non-fiction (which I rather dislike reading). Fiction writing is something I've only just begun to try my hand at with my slowly moving "Susan Fic". It's fun, but I'm discovering I'm rather bad at creating an interesting (and consistently believable) plot. So I gues my life will continue to to be: read fiction, write non-fiction.
ReplyDeleteI apologise for not reading and/or commenting all your writing challenge posts. But about half of my blogger friends are taking part and there's too much for me to keep up with.

No worries. We're all a bit flurried lately, it seems.
ReplyDeleteI, too, enjoy writing non-fiction, but not reading it. My high school research class taught me almost everything I know about organization of facts and ideas, but ask me to read my classmates' 15+ page papers and (unless it's a subject that really draws my attention) I'll decline.
Blog posts, however, are another matter. *wanders off to read*
